PALAZZETTO A COLLE
A farm house of beautiful proportions with two agricultural annexes
to be converted into vacation apartments.
THE SITE
Similar to Campecolle Alto, the property called Palazzetto a Colle
consists of a group of buildings, of which, one - the main house,
is located in a central position overlooking the Niccone valley.
The other structures, which were used in the past for agricultural
purposes are grouped around it.
THE HOUSE
The main house has two floors and a basement which is open towards
the valley. It is constructed of thick stone walls which support
wooden cestnut beams which are used also for the roof structure.
The architecture of the building is of particular beauty resembling
a small castle. The annexes similarly to the main house are constructed
in a traditional style with arches and typical details of the
vernacular architecture of the region.
THE PROJECT
The restoration program forsees apartments of different sizes
in the main house and the larger annex, while the smaller annex
will be designed as an independent unit of high quality. As for
Campecolle Alto, here too, a flexibility of interior subdivision
will be maintained, in order to meet customers particular needs.
COMMON AREAS
The project is equipped with a swimmimg pool, common outdoor areas
and parking area for the owners and their guests. A private gravel
road connects the project site with the nearby road which leads
to the neighbouring villages and cities.
