THE BORGO
The borgo is a medieval, two storey building: The upper floor was for dwelling and the ground floor housed stabels.
The building has thick walls constructed with local stone, traditional terracota tiles cover the roof. The general appearance of the building is typical to the vernacular architecture of farm houses in Umbria. It is very simple with few elements of decoration but as a whole reflects well upon the down to earth traditional way of life in the region.
