is 5 bedroom 4 bath villa that is ideal for couples or
families traveling together.
Casa
Fontefaggio is a traditional Umbrian farmhouse constructed
in local stone and occupying a peaceful, semi-secluded
elevated position with grounds of approximately three
acres and panoramic, uninterrupted views of the rolling
countryside.
The
main part of the house was built in the sixteenth century.
Total restoration of Casa Fontefaggio was completed
very recently. It is a substantial family house built
on three levels and comprises 5 double bedrooms (3 en-suite),
a large modern and well-equipped kitchen, an extremely
spacious living area on the ground floor, an upstairs
lounge and a total of 4 ultra modern bathrooms. Although
this Umbrin holiday home retains many of its original
features including chestnut beams, exposed stone walls
and internal brick archways, the owners have created
a sophisticated and contemporary style using travertine
marble flooring throughout the property, granite work
surfaces in the kitchen and limestone tiling in the
bathrooms. Each of the 5 bedrooms is individually designed
to give it a unique feel. The house is equipped to the
highest standard to help make your stay at Villa Fontefaggio
a wonderful and relaxing experience.
Close
to the Tuscany/Umbria border, Villa Fontefaggio is only
15kms from Perugia, 22kms from Assisi, 30kms from Gubbio
and easily accessible to Siena, Arrezzo, Florence and
Lake Trasimeno as well as being in close proximity to
many of the attractive Umbrian hilltop towns such as
Montefalco, Spello and Spoleto amongst others. In addition,
to the East, there is easy access to the Adriatic coast
and the rugged countryside of Le Marche.
