in a magnificent panoramic position overlooking the
Medieval town, is this meticulously restored stone
countryhouse with a characteristic tower. The owner
has personally followed the careful restoration and
preservation of the house, which has been enlarged
but has also maintained those features that make this
residence so special—wood beams, terracotta
floors, antique doors, beautiful fireplaces. At the
same time the house has been planned to accomodate
many people in graceful quarters each with en-suite
bathrooms decorated with antique hand-painted ceramic
tiles. Furnished with many antiques, this is an elegant
and at the same time comfortable dwelling, perfect
for groups desiring a high quality country vacation.
The property is just off the main paved road and completely
fenced in.
On the ground
floor there is a very large living room with fireplace
and a dining room also with fireplace. Large well-equipped
country style kitchen with dishwasher, microwave,
large oven, 5-burner range top, pantry and utility
room with a second refrigerator, extra range and oven
and washing machine and dryer.
There is a
study furnished with a sofa bed for two adjacent to
the living room, private bath with shower. Another
double bedroom with single beds and bath with shower
near the kitchen. Both of these rooms also have independent
entrances.
The second
floor has three bedrooms: one with two single beds,
bath with shower; double bed, large bath with tub;
double bed, bath with shower. In the hallway another
bathroom with shower and sauna. There is a large double
bedroom and bath with extra large shower on the top
floor of the tower. Many of the bedrooms have roomy
walk-in closets. All rooms are connected by an intercom
phone system.
A wide portico runs around two sides of the house,
from the study to the living room, and is furnished
for relaxing and dining while enjoying the view over
the valley towards Todi . Down below the portico is
a large swimming pool with a changing room and bathroom.On
the opposite side of the house, close to the kitchen,
is a covered pergolata also furnished for dining outside.
