upper Tiber valley just minutes outside of the
medieval town of Umbertide and near the Tuscan
boarder rests Pellegrino. The property offers an
number of unique services that make it a special
vacation destination. Villa Pellegrino boasts its
own interdenominational private chapel, for whichever
creed or faith you subscribe to. This oratorio,
which was dedicated to “Our
Lady of the Sacred Heart”, remains a building
for quiet contemplation, or prayer, study, services,
blessings, weddings, christenings, anniversaries
and any and all gentle cultural pursuits. Curiously,
the chapel contains a British Boer War memorial.
Villa
Pellegrino is a luxuriously renovated15th century
monastery , that has been renovated into a luxury
estate. The main house consists of nine (9) double
bedrooms all with en-suite bath making it an ideal
property for groups traveling together. The villa
has been carefully designed to capture the uniqueness
of Umbrian architecture such as handmade terracotta
floors and wood beam ceilings while encompassing all
of today's modern conveniences
The kitchen
in Villa Pellegrino is professionally designed to
accommodate large parties and special occasions.
The villa is fully equipped and tastefully decorated
with beautiful furniture, linens, Italian china, The
bathrooms are tastefully designed in marble and have
ambient floor heating for comfort .There are beautiful
working fireplaces throughout the house.
For guests
that need a bit more space, the Piccione cottage is
available. The cottage is adjacent the main house
and is accessed through the gardens on charming stone
pathways. There are three double bedrooms all with
en-suite bath.
Twice weekly maid service is provided; additional
maid service is available upon request. The local
property manager can provide sightseeing tours and
help arrange airport pick-ups and car rentals.
Villa Pellegrino is two hours and fifteen minutes
from Rome, an hour and half from Florence, 15 minutes
from Umbertide, 35 minutes from Perugia, 40 minutes
from Spoleto and 35 minutes from Assisi.

Pellegrino is available year-round for short or long-term
rental. Rates vary by season. Special rates for stays
of a month or more.
